Link PagerDuty Services

Connect PagerDuty services to the catalog so on-call lookup and service context stay aligned.

Before you start

  • Connect PagerDuty in integrations first.
  • Decide whether you want to import services in bulk or link them one by one.

Do this

  1. Open Catalog and load the available PagerDuty services.
  2. Import the services you want to bring into OpsBell, or link a PagerDuty service directly from a system or function editor.
  3. Review the import preview before confirming so you only bring in the services you want.
  4. Link each imported service to the right system or function in the catalog.
  5. Use the linked service details to verify the escalation policy name and external service URL.
  6. Check the on-call directory to confirm PagerDuty-backed coverage appears where you expect it.

Check it worked

  • The system or function shows PagerDuty linked.
  • The linked service displays the correct name and escalation policy.
  • PagerDuty-backed on-call data is available from the on-call board.

If it does not work

  • If services do not load, fix the PagerDuty integration before retrying import.
  • If the wrong service is linked, correct the catalog mapping instead of importing duplicates.
  • If on-call data is missing, check PagerDuty readiness from the coverage board.
