Configure Microsoft Teams

Connect Microsoft Teams for incident channel creation, notifications, and Teams-based delivery.

Before you start

  • Use an account in the tenant where this workspace should create channels and post updates.

Do this

  1. Open Settings > Integrations and select Microsoft Teams.
  2. Complete the Microsoft OAuth flow.
  3. Confirm the connection is ready.
  4. Test channel creation or notification steps from a runbook if Teams will be part of the incident workflow.
  5. Use Teams delivery only after the workspace can resolve the right user identities and team targets.

Check it worked

  • Microsoft Teams is connected and ready.
  • Teams-based runbook steps and delivery options are available.

If it does not work

  • If OAuth fails, check tenant approval and account scope first.
  • If channel actions cannot find the right team or channel, review the available Teams options from the runbook builder.
