Configure WhatsApp Delivery

Enable WhatsApp as an optional delivery channel for responder and watcher notifications.

Before you start

  • Decide whether WhatsApp is a real delivery need for the workspace or just another noisy path.

Do this

  1. Open Settings > Integrations and select WhatsApp.
  2. Enable the integration for the workspace.
  3. Confirm the workspace can use OpsBell-managed WhatsApp delivery.
  4. Add WhatsApp to user escalation policies or subscriptions only where it fits the real responder workflow.

Check it worked

  • WhatsApp appears as an available delivery channel.
  • Responders can choose it in routing when the workspace is ready.

If it does not work

  • If the channel is missing, confirm the integration is enabled.
  • If the workspace does not actually use WhatsApp operationally, leave it off instead of adding unused channels.
